Refund & Restocking Policy

At 54-Seventeen Tactical, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every product we build. Our components are engineered in Texas and tested to perform beyond standard specifications. Please review the following terms carefully before initiating a return or refund request.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns or exchanges on most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided.
- The return is authorized by our support team before shipment.
Non-returnable items include:
- Firearms, receivers, frames, or any serialized parts.
- Installed or modified items.
- Custom-built or special-order products.
- Apparel that has been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery.
- Gift cards, digital downloads, or promotional items.
Items that do not meet the above criteria may be rejected or assessed a restocking fee.
2. Return Authorization Process
To start a return, email support@54-17.com with:
- Your full name and order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- A brief reason for the return (defective, incorrect item, etc.)
Our team will reply with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Items sent without authorization will not be accepted.
3. Shipping Your Return
- All shipping costs (to and from) are the customer’s responsibility.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Use a tracked and insured carrier — 54-Seventeen Tactical is not liable for lost or damaged returns.
- Ship only to the address provided in your RMA approval email.
4. Restocking Fee & Condition Review
- Approved returns not due to our error are subject to a 15 % restocking fee to cover inspection, re-inventory, and administrative costs.
- If the returned product shows use or requires reconditioning, additional deductions may apply.
- Once an item leaves our facility, it is classified as “open-box” and cannot be resold as new.
5. Incorrect Orders or Customer Error
- If you ordered the wrong item, please contact support for guidance.
- Approved returns of incorrect orders follow the same policy: 15 % restocking fee, and the customer pays shipping both ways.
6. Defective or Damaged Items
- Report defective or damaged products within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.
- We may issue a prepaid label, replacement, or repair authorization at our discretion.
7. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method (minus fees and non-refundable shipping).
- Processing time is typically 3–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
8. Environmental Responsibility
Returned items that cannot be resold are recycled in accordance with EPA guidelines and Texas environmental regulations. We minimize waste and ensure proper handling of metals, polymers, and packaging.
9. Warranty Claims
All 54-Seventeen Tactical products are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects. This does not cover misuse, improper installation, modification, or normal wear and tear.

10. Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled only before shipment. Once tracking is issued, the order is considered fulfilled and cannot be cancelled.
